Scott Saff to Retire After 25 years of Service to Cooperatives Nationwide
With profound appreciation and a twinge of sadness, Cooperative Insights announces the retirement of Scott Saff, Manager of Research Services at the end of this month. As a founding member of the Cooperative Insights team, Saff has worked for 25 years to support the market research efforts of electric cooperatives nationwide, maintaining a sharp focus on returning insights that support member satisfaction and engagement strategies.
“Working with cooperatives across the country has been an extremely rewarding experience. I will definitely miss the daily interactions with so many dedicated colleagues who work tirelessly to support their cooperatives and improve their rural communities.” Saff said.
Prior to joining North Carolina’s Electric Cooperatives and creating the market research business unit, Saff held various market research positions, including one with an investor-owned utility. He received a BA from St. Bonaventure University and a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University
A native of Buffalo New York, Saff has lived in the Raleigh area for the past 25 years. During that time, he has been active in Leadership North Carolina, the Rural Electric Action Program, AMA Triangle, including several years as president of the Triangle Chapter, as well as many causes supporting rescue animals.
“Scott has been a trailblazer in this industry,” said Kristie Aldridge, Vice President of Strategic Communications and Marketing. “We are immensely grateful for his dedication to cooperatives and for his many contributions as a friend and colleague for the last 25 years.”
As the new year approaches, Cooperative Insights stands ready with research solutions that will equip you with knowledge and insights to guide your member engagement strategies in 2023 and beyond.
Happy trails, Scott!
